Thirst Trappin

Social media is full of the “high horse men.” You know, the men that are constantly talking about women taking selfies or showing off their bodies for attention. Those same men are the ones giving the same women that they are complaining about all the likes, hearts, and heart eyes. Don’t get me wrong, I like the pictures too but Im not complaining about the picture either.

No one ever discusses the thirsty posts men make to play on the heart strings of that girl posting about being single or lonely though. I’m talking about the Derrick Jaxon wannabe’s without the large following, looks, or muscles. I’m talking about the guy that thinks he’s strategic, so he sits and thinks of things to say to gain attention and conversation from women, yet stresses that he is single because women don’t treat him right or because women don’t appreciate him. I sincerely hope these women out here aren’t falling for this by trying to prove themselves to these types of men.

Here are some examples:
“I can’t wait to brag on my wife.”
“Sometimes just pray with her and see how better things become.”
“I’m single and being good like Im in a relationship.”
“I guess I’m ugly because I don’t get the type of women I want.”
“I’m tired of women not appreciating me.”
“I just want to travel with my lady. I guess women don’t want that anymore.”
“No Black man is loved properly unless he has money.”
These are the same dudes in every chicks inbox shooting the same shot but, doesn’t want anything but some attention for the moment. Oh and some new material for a Facebook post (rolls eyes).
The comments in response to these posts are usually filled with women eating this nonsense up. Sir, just go ahead and post a naked picture and tell us what you like to do in the bedroom, or just make a post that says “I need some attention from a woman today.” I’m tempted to hook a few people up depending on what kind of attention they think they need.
My point is that most men that want a relationship or some real form of companionship aren’t using manipulative, passive-aggressive tactics via the internet. They are out here in the world engaging in adult conversations, enjoying life, praying or manifesting what they desire.
So while some of these men are telling women to stop thirst trapping’, please tell your homeboy the same thing….
